Aster
AutumnDescription
AUTUMN ASTER sometimes called autumn daisy, is a herbaceous / perennial plant.
THE FLOWERS generally quite small are present in a starry multitude along each stem. They are very popular with butterflies and bees, and they also make beautiful bouquets because they last a long time in a vase.
WATER: moderately, do not leave the soil soggy, let the substrate dry out between waterings. Does not support stagnant humidity: it causes their roots to rot. Need a draining substrate.
SUN: prefers exposure to the sun to bring out all its brilliance but tolerates partial shade.
FLOWERING PERIOD: is remarkably long, stretching from the end of August to November.
ADVICE : cut faded flowers as they appear: visually prettier and this stimulates the appearance of new flower buds.
